It's Xuxa's Birthday!

An integral member of the team, Xuxa (pronounced: “Shoo-Shuh), handles important tasks like telling us when a delivery van pulls up, charming visitors to our studio, and accompanying us on research expeditions.

Adopted from rescue, this sweetest girl spends mornings trotting alongside Karole on walks along the acequias and afternoons snoozing under the workbench.

Many of our website photos are taken by us during field and research trips around the southwest. Know that just out of the frame, Xuxa is sitting nearby or prancing up the trail to hurry us on to the next discovery.

With her recent birthday, she celebrates 6 years in our family and on the Oropopo staff. We didn’t know what an important role she would fill until she showed us what we were missing.
